What is the Hunger Retreat? The Church of Saint Henry is teaming up with Saint Francis Xavier, Saint Raphael, Sacred Heart and Saint Bonaventure to offer you a radical Lenten retreat experience, March 6-7 (4pm Friday to 8:30pm Saturday)! This year's retreat theme is "I Am With You Always" and we will focus on the problem of loneliness. Today, it is believed that more than 30% of Americans suffer from loneliness in one way or another. Join us as we learn, pray, serve, and give to others who experience loneliness and help them to know that they are never alone. The retreat includes a 24-hour fast (book-ended by Friday dinner and Saturday dinner), community service, prayer, Adoration, Mass, and talks on the social dimensions of Catholic Teaching. All 8th-12th grade youth are invited. The cost is $25. Participants will also pledge to raise financial support for national & international missions prior to the retreat. Do something radical this Lent! Join us for the Hunger Retreat 2020!
