My name is Jenna Montedonico and I am your Director of Youth Formation and Ministry here at the Church of Saint Henry.
I grew up in the northwestern suburbs in a Catholic, home-schooling family. I am and always have been extremely close to my family: my dad and mom, two older brothers (plus now sister-in-law, niece, and nephew), one younger sister, and one youngest brother. I married my husband, Ben, in July 2021, and together we are beginning the beautiful adventure of the vocation of marriage! While I first learned of God’s love through my family as a child, it was through my experience in youth ministry that I personally encountered Jesus and began living intentionally for Him. In the later years of high-school, the call to serve in ministry began to grow in my heart. I went to Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio and graduated in 2014 with a double major in Theology and Catechetics (with a concentration in Youth Ministry) and a minor in Philosophy. I then served for two years at the Church of Saint Ignatius in Annandale before coming to Saint Henry in 2016.
I love being a part of the parish community of the Church of Saint Henry and the “FYSHbowl family” (“FYSHbowl” stands for “For the Youth of Saint Henry” and is the name of our youth group). It is a joy to walk with teens as they encounter Jesus and make the decision to live intentionally for Him. I often say, “I have the coolest job ever!” (Seriously, I get to share Jesus with others for work!).
